Lake-Effect-Certificate-2015-s1

We’re two for two!!!

Friends of Two Harbors Dog Park is proud to announce that we have received a “Lake Effect” Grant from the Northland Foundation’s Age to Age Initiative! The grant was awarded to us based on the success of Two Harbors Community Dog Park as a venue for inter-generational activity.

Dog parks are a unique feature of city parks everywhere as they bring participants together regardless of age and gender (not to mention species); very rare in the sporting world! The funds will be utilized in connection with Friends of Two Harbors Dog Park’s participation in the 2015 Heritage Days parade where Two Harbors Dog Park becomes more visible to the less tech-savvy generation who we can’t normally engage through electronic media.

We’re still on course to put the dog park together on Saturday, May 23rd. We’ll confirm the date and time once we get a handle on mother nature’s plans for the day. I’m sure everybody and every dog is ready to get out and get going with the gorgeous weather we’ve been having!

Keep those tails wagging!
