At the latest Two Harbors City Council meeting on 1/27/14 the Public Affairs committee reported they are in conversation with a group of locals who are interested in having a dog park in town where they can exercise their pets off-leash in a safe environment. Committee members are considering three or four sites that might work for a dog park, and are encouraging interested residents to get involved with planning what is hoped to be a citizen maintained area. Another meeting is scheduled for the end of February.
The next meeting will be Tuesday, February 25th at 5:00 PM at the Two Harbors city hall.
