Friends of Two Harbors Dog Park needs volunteers to March or to ride the “float” in this year’s Heritage Days Parade on Saturday, July 11th. Volunteers will receive a Two Harbors Dog Park Maroon & Gold t-shirt with our logo on the front and the Northland Foundation’s Age to Age logo on the back.
Marchers would wear their dog park t-shirts while making merry with the crowd and distributing candy and dog park fliers to onlookers. Molson, the dog park’s mascot, will be marching as well.
Our float this year is “The World’s Smallest Small Dog Zone”. Volunteers could sit with their dog inside our towable 4×8 foot small dog zone fitted with signage. Dogs are welcome to march on leash during the parade. However, realize that this is an extremely stressful and unsuitable environment for most dogs. Please consult Ian before bringing your dog out to march in the parade.
If you’d like to volunteer or have any questions, please message Pretzel Fritz on Facebook, call or text Ian at (312)259-5373, or reply to this post. Thank you for representing Two Harbors Dog Park in the 2015 Heritage Days Parade!
