Attention Parade Volunteers! The assembly point for the 2014 Heritage Days parade will be on 6th Avenue and 4th Street. (Near the site of the former High School). Friends of Two Harbors Dog Park and the Lake County Humane Society are on Float #52. Remember that number! We’ll begin assembling at high noon! The parade starts at 1 PM. We’ll disperse buckets, dog biscuits, candy, pamphlets etc. to be distributed during the parade. We’ll have drinks for you and water for your dogs. Please remember to bring some extra “poop bags” should nature call your canine companions. Our group consists of 14 people and 5 dogs so far.

Also, our Wednesday night meetup is still on for 6 PM. However, the folks from Friends of Two Harbors Dog Park won’t be around Saturday as we’re preparing for the big parade. Come out to the dog park this Wednesday evening and come march with us at Saturday’s parade! Hope to see you there!
